Our Family and Consumer Enrichment class is interested in learning to make pancakes as their first food lab! However, with a full class, this can be a big undertaking with limited supplies and resources. We still need griddles, spatulas, bowls, gloves, and hand sanitizer before we can even begin to gather our ingredients! It is my goal for students to learn fast, easy, and healthy alternatives for all the unhealthy food options we normally see in our environment. These food labs not only allow my students to start making better food choices, but also motivates them to be more involved in their family meal planning. Please help my students walk away from this class with a confidence in life skills, and knowledge to make healthier choices!
