If a spot or a seat is not right I want my students to have the ability to choose a seat right for them. My classroom is full of highly active students who sometimes have difficulty sitting in a standard classroom chair. Flexible seating will allow my student to choose a "smart seat" that best meets their needs. Being able to bounce on a balance ball or wobble on a stool gives students the ability to move without having to get out of their seats. Children have such high energy and get antsy having to sit for to long. Flexible seating allows students movement in a safe way that does not effect others around them.
