When students enter our classroom, I want them to have a variety of options for their seating, while still focusing on their learning. For some students, chairs and desks are uncomfortable for successful learning. The materials listed will allow students to choose what works for them. Maybe they do their best learning sitting on the floor or reclining. Perhaps a cushion on a traditional chair brings comfort. Not all students learn in the same way, so flexible seating will let students pick what works best for them! Choice in their seating will go a far way to improve their learning.
