I try to keep my students as engaged in learning as possible and I believe that flexible seating can only make that engagement more possible. My students do a majority of station work in my classroom, while I pull small groups. I think that flexible seating will make station work even more enjoyable. I chose three types of seating with four seats in each. I position my desks into groups of four so I will only need four seats per group. The first two seats that I chose were the wobble chair and balance ball so that students can have more movement while they sit. I also picked some sturdy stools so that my students have something to sit in other than a plain chair.
