Small group instruction is a very crucial block of an instructional day. This is the time that I work with my struggling students and to provide targeted instruction for all other students based on their academic levels. It is important that my students are able to work independently or work with their peers while I deliver these instructions. The magnetic write and wipe boards will be used by students to build sentences using the sight word magnets. Word building tiles will also be used to build words and sentences as a practice on what has been taught. The "Draw and Write Journal" will be used to write the sentences that students generated. The writings in the journal will accumulate and serve as students writing portfolio. The Sorting Houses will be used in centers to sort rhyming words and help students in categorizing pictures and objects. These materials will provide students with hands on experience!
