I teach some of the coolest Middle School students I've ever met. They tell the honest truth all the time - sometimes too often, are hilarious, and work hard. Hearing some of their stories can be heartbreaking, but they are loyal and loving kids. Once they see you truly care about them, respect them, and want them to do the best they can, they will show the same care and respect back, and strive for their best. I believe my classroom is a place where they can be comfortable, themselves, and feel safe. Middle school years are all about finding yourself and figuring out who you want to be as a person. I'm so privileged to see that happening every day with my students.

About my class
