Young children struggle to learn when asked to sit in a chair for a long period of time. Effective learning takes place when a child can move and explore while learning. I would like to provide my students with flexible seating that would allow them to learn in comfort and movement. Most young children today need the opportunity to move AND learn and flexible seating will provide this opportunity. Children will be allowed to freely move around the classroom and find a safe comfortable place to focus without distractions from other students and themselves. What a privilege to give the students this learning style.
