I am fortunate enough to teach some of the youngest learners. For some of my students, kindergarten is their first school experience. Creating a strong foundation (in both academics and social-emotional development) and a love of learning helps to ensure continued success as my students grow. Students' interests and wonders drive the learning in our classroom. We learn best when our experiences are meaningful and relevant. Play is also a big part of our learning in kindergarten- students have opportunities to practice, develop, construct, and demonstrate academic and social skills.
