We do several passion projects throughout the year. Most students build a prototype of some sort. Poster board and cardboard are the creative materials of choice! They love taping paper and tissues together too! I noticed they started saving tissue boxes to use as building material at recess! They will make houses, storage compartments, games, dolls, cars, animals and the list goes on. They are so creative, and they love to share their work with others. I'd love to provide them with tools to help them have more and safer building options, not only for recess but class project prototypes. Tools such as the Power Screwdriver with Cutter and the Sew Cool Machine would really help take work to the next level more safely! Students would no longer need to spend so much time cutting coardboard or finding volunteer adults to help cut cardboard or hand sewing!
