In many circumstances, a student will say that they hate to read because they haven't found anything to read that interests them or speaks to them. Last year, reading these Scholastic News Magazines was the only aspect of our reading instruction that several kids were actually excited about doing each week. It provides students with the opportunity to read various nonfiction texts that are always current and engaging. Each student receiving their own copy of each week's Scholastic News Magazine will allow them to go more in-depth with their reading fluency and comprehension. Each new set of magazines comes with a complete set of digital teaching tools, as well.
