In our classroom, we have lots of math manipulatives that would be much easier to use and more engaging if they were magnetized. Our current whiteboard is actually a shower board so it is not magnetized and is difficult to erase. With these materials, my students would have a more engaging experience during math because they would be able to go to the whiteboard, move the manipulatives around and write their problems. Magnetic tape and magnetic squares would make it beneficial to the students because I could attach this tape and squares to any manipulative needed at the time. My students have busy little minds and bodies as well, wiggle cushions would greatly benefit them. They would be able to get their wiggles out while learning.
