I am respectfully requesting funding for 5 balance ball chairs. These balance ball chairs are an alternative to regular desk chairs and provide activity and movement for students who are challenged with sitting still through a lesson. These chairs have been proven to increase productivity, engagement and focus and boost energy levels. The idea of sitting on an exercise ball instead of a traditional student desk chair is that the instability of an exercise ball requires the student to increase trunk muscle activation and thus increase core strength, improve posture and decrease discomfort. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase kindergarten student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement
