The materials listed will allow students to build on their reading and math skills. Both skills are tested at the end of the year using a standardized state test. I want my students to do their best and these resources will allow them to be successful by reinforcing and modeling concepts that are being taught.
The reading resources will allow students to have a more tactical and visual learning experience. The listening center with the read along books will help students with reading. Students also have a hard time deciding what's a prefix or suffix and the Prefix game will help with this concept. The resources will give them a different perspective.
The math resources will allow students to practice learned concepts outside of pencil and paper. The Visual boards will give them an actual visual of how to solve the problems. They also have a problem with place value. The Place Value
Game will give them a better understanding. Students are more apt to remember algorithms when using manipulatives.
