Every day the students and I have an hour of math workshop time. During this time I pull small groups for guided math. While some students have no problem sitting, working and learning in a chair for 20 minutes, this is a lot to ask for others. Any small group work that is done throughout the day, while it is incredibly important to the students' learning, can be a struggle for students who need to be constantly moving. The wobble stools will allow for a comfortable seat for students' during guided math and small group work time. Instead of focusing on how uncomfortable they are or getting up and moving around all the time, they will be able to sit and focus on instruction. Adding the Wobble stools to our classroom will create a classroom environment in which students are comfortable learning.
