Statistics is a difficult subject for high school students. Through group work, they collaboratively solve statistical problems to gain understanding. They apply the ideas on a daily basis by using computer software to analyze data, run simulations and make real-life decisions. Through the use of technology, we can put students into real-life scenarios that statistics can help solve and analyze. Having the laptops in the room allow our students to implement the curriculum in the way it was designed to be used. It will enhance their learning, understanding, and applications of statistics which will hopefully carry forward to their careers and lives.

About my class
