Too many students are exposed to musical instruments through pictures on a screen. We know that in today's day and age that students need to learn about instruments by touching them, playing them, and developing an understanding of how they work. These instruments will allow my students to be exposed to music in a way that isn't normal in an elementary music classroom. Instead of just taking them to a symphony, they can now dream of being in one themselves. They can touch the strings of a ukulele and use science to understand the sounds. Music encompasses all subjects and this will bring it to life!
