I am requesting wobble sets, ball seats and floor cushions. All students go to school and work extremely hard! My students are part of a one-way dual language program. This means that they come and they are expected to learn two languages throughout the day. My students' brains are exhausted by the end of the day. Having flexible seating will allow them to work in a more relaxed environment. A classroom, especially a self-contained classroom, is where students spend most of their day. As teachers, we need to make the classroom inviting and appealing to students. Students learn best when they are comfortable. Flexible seating options will allow me to allow my students to feel empowered to choose where and how they will get to sit.
