My goal is for each of my students to find a book that they love by the end of the year. Every child has the potential to enjoy reading! We are utilizing a Reading Counts program to motivate each child to read a book on their level that meets their interests. Independent reading is so important, as it teaches children comprehension skills and exposes them to many different types of vocabulary and knowledge. This is my first year in third grade and I would be so excited to build a library that my students can utilize every day in our classroom. I am hoping to accomplish this with your help!
