Welcome to Ms. Boone's Self Contained Pre-K classroom. My students are learning through play everyday. There are learning math skills by matching and sorting, literacy skills by learning the alphabet and holding a pencil. My students are exploring thorough science and creating their own art. They are learning all these skills along with social skills. My classroom is unique as my students have developmental delayed disabilities. They are learning social skills (how to share, cope, language, and taking care of their own basic needs). We have an amazing time in my classroom exploring through play while preparing my students for Kindergarten.
