I picked out items that would help foster a positive learning environment for my students. Some students are able to learn simply by sitting and listening but others need to be up and moving around. I think it is important to cater to the various learning needs of each student. I incorporate many mobile activities. For this, it would be helpful for students to have a clipboard or whiteboard to write on, depending on the activity. The poster paper is used for several group activities. We also need board games to use during inclement weather. I believe that students really connect through play and this can help further a great sense of community within our classroom.
