Our school has a no backpack rule in an attempt to limit non-essential items and to help with organization. The fabric messenger bags have helped students get prepared for class and be ready to learn. I want my students to feel proud to be a member of this community and to not have to worry about supplies they may not have access to. The noise cancelling headphones will be a great help to students who struggle with anxiety, especially when it comes to test taking. I can think of lots of things my kiddos need, and want to take the burden off of the families of trying to get them what they need to be successful in school and life. The mechanical pencils and binders will help out students and their families.

About my class
