I chose the Lego Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set. These materials will help my students learn about force, motion, and simple machines in a hands-on way in order to understand concepts presented in class. Students will think they are playing when in fact they are gaining important science knowledge. They can build a car with a motor, experiment with different designs to see what works best, and use the accompanying software. STEM materials are vital to today's student success. This LEGO set will provide students with direct experience with STEM activities necessary for mastering concepts. The motor and building elements will help them see the intricate inner workings of machines, along with wheels and axels. The software included covers engineering as well as life, physical, earth, and space sciences.
