Using flexible seating options like exercise balls, scoop rockers and wobble chairs will help my students feel more comfortable in the classroom and help them develop positive learning experiences during their kindergarten year. Flexible seating will allow my students the chance to explore and make choices about how they learn best. It will also help to create a warmer and more comfortable environment for them. Kindergarteners have a lot of energy and need a safe way to expend it. Flexible seating encourages movement which our little ones need a lot of! Research shows that flexible seating and movement during lessons allows students to focus and be more attentive!
