Students will read one picture book a week to focus on vocabulary and complete a Storybook STEM lesson. Book bins will be used to organize titles. Telephone microphones will allow students to record their reading on iPads. These recordings will be used for formative assessments, self reflection, and communication with families on student progress. The lamination machine and long reach stapler will support the teacher in prepping materials for lessons. Other classroom supplies will be used by teacher and students in various learning opportunities, such as attention signals, display work, and independent student journals.
