Math is often thought to be an impossible subject to understand. Besides teaching, half the battle is getting my students to believe that they can do it, they can succeed. Over the last 4 year, I have seen students push through challenges inside and outside of school to succeed. They are highly motivated and persistent. Without this urgency and grit, they would not have exceeded growth all 4 years. I am so proud of what they have been able to accomplish. My goal is that they continue to believe in themselves even after they leave my classroom. The hope is that they continue to excel given the foundation set in place.

About my class
