I have chosen a few different seating options that I have seen work in the classroom. Having these options in addition to traditional seating will make students feel empowered and involved in their own learning by allowing them a choice of how they do so. Included in these options are wobble cushions, which are a small circular pad that allows fidgety students an option that is not a typical desk. They are able to move as they please without distracting other students. With seating such as a bean bag and floor chairs, it will allow students the range of movement they desperately need. These will also make students feel more comfortable in a classroom when they are able to have a say in how they will learn. This also makes student collaboration easier.
