These Chromebooks will support my students on what we strive to accomplish on a daily basis. Most of them are struggling readers and it is important that they improve their reading comprehension, not only for school, but for life. We have been able to receive access to a dynamic computer based reading program that will help them grow in reading comprehension, word knowledge, and phonemic awareness. We desperately need of the technology to access the program. Having these Chromebooks can open up so many opportunities that my students are not usually privileged to on a daily basis. I am intentional about letting my students know how important their thoughts and ideas truly are. They will also be able to use this technology in order to prepare projects and participate in presentations regarding culturally relevant topics in our curriculum. This source of technology can make all of the difference in the world.
