My students come to school everyday eager to learn! They greet me with a big smile and a big hug every morning! They are anxious to participate and succeed in all tasks set before them. My school is a Title 1 school and we have 100% free and reduced lunch. The majority of my students are being raised by single moms and/or grandparents and they have multiple siblings. My school seeks to meet the needs of every student in many diverse ways. We participate in school-wide morning meetings which also serves as our Social and Emotional learning time. We have student mentors, book buddies, and gender based programs for the upper grade males and females.
