Building a community of learners is the focus of the class project. The various sports equipment games such as a soccer ball, Frisbee, and the Dynamometer Mechanical Puzzle will foster an environment of teamwork. Monopoly will grow our financial literacy. As the class continues to work together, the Globe will allow us to discover the world; the Quarter Hourglass and the Academy da Vinci Clock will allow us to discover the development of telling time; the Readers’ Theater Script Box will foster confidence in our speech and self-expression; and most importantly, the first aid kit will support our weekly nature walks as we get acquainted and connected to the environment. Additionally, the TIME for Kids subscription will enhance the class’ reading groups and will spark the love of reading. Lastly and certainly not least, STEM for Grade 3 will enhance the students’ learning through discovery learning.
