My hope is to obtain a PA system that I can use daily in my classroom. I am committed to give my students numerous opportunities to share their ideas, stories, problem solving strategies (etc.) with their peers. Also as I teach the writing process, I would like to give each student a chance to read their rough drafts out loud and have their peers help them with their edits. The only problem is their tiny voices can't be heard without a PA system. In order to help students' build confidence, I would like them to become accustomed to speaking into a microphone so they can convey their thoughts boldly and have their thought process validated by others in the classroom. This will also help achieve my goal of creating a strong, supportive, classroom community.
