The list provided is essential for student learning. Basic materials such as paper, writing utensils, etc., are hard to come by throughout the year; anything helps and would be put to great use. This year, our school is focusing heavily on our school-wide theme of College and Career Readiness. For example, testing folders will help to simulate standardized testing practice much like on the collegiate level. Additionally, I plan to utilize materials such as paper, folders, writing utensils, markers, etc. to encourage study skills and practices; a major academic set back of today's generation. It is with your help that this may all be possible.
