Two vital items this project will provide are study/privacy folders and student whiteboards. Research shows that students need time and space to process new learning and apply it. The study folders will give students the ability to create their own personal space and block out distractions while they work through new concepts. Students also need as many opportunities as possible to respond to questions and instruction. Having individual whiteboards will allow students to share their thinking and work with me and with other students. Being a unique and fun medium, the use of whiteboards will also increase student engagement and participation.
