My students want the opportunity the build their minds through play and exploration. This project provides them with tools for fun STEAM challenges and games that allow them to implement the learning standards in a fun and exciting way. Some games include "Pentomino Symmetry", and "What's the Value of Your Structure?", using base ten blocks. These games and challenges will excite even my most reluctant learners, while encouraging all my students to persevere through challenging tasks in fun and playful ways. From patterning with craft sticks, to going on a "Shopping Spree" for grocery items, there's something for everyone!
