As a special education teacher, I understand that all children learn differently and require different approaches to make their education successful. My goal this year is to incorporate student choice by offering flexible seating. All the students in my class will have the opportunity to sit in a special chair as needed. Flexible seating chairs will help students in the area calm down if they need a break. Also, it will be used as a way for a student that is easily distracted to remain focused during independent and group instruction. I know these chairs will help my students reach their goals.
