One of the most difficult things to tell children is that we have to stay inside for recess. Recess is their favorite part of the day, and we need some things to make in door recess more fun. Games teach so many great skills! We need Sorry, Candy Land, Connect Four, and Trouble to help children learn how to play together. They will work on things like communication skills, encouraging one another, and accepting the fact that we can not always win. Art is just another way for kids to express themselves. Providing them with Play Doh, Crayola Markers, and various coloring books gives children something else to occupy their minds and bodies during this time.
