These storage bins will allow students to store their classroom recorders based on class. My students will feel like they are more personally responsible for their recorders since they will be separate from other classes', which will improve their outlook and experience with learning recorder. Previously, my students have had to wait for me to pass out recorders or mallets before beginning an activity. As this takes time, many of my students feel as if this is wasting time they may have to learn and play recorder. By supporting this project, you're allowing my students to have more efficient access to their instruments which means they can begin their learning experience sooner. Students will be less worried about the process of passing out instruments/materials and will instead be more focused on the experience they are about to have for the day.
