Preschoolers learn and develop best through hands-on, interactive activities. In order to do this, my preschoolers need a wide variety of tools. These tools were selected with my students' interests and needs in mind. Each of my students has special needs and needs help reaching goals such as balancing on one foot, cooperative play, sensory input, hand-eye coordination and using the pincer grasp. My students will benefit from the Gonge Riverstone stepping stones as they practice balancing on one foot and walking between different heights. They will also be able to improve fine motor skills as they use the pincer grasp with the Feed the Animals game and hand-eye coordination to use the Beginner's Hammering Kits. The Elastic Fleece Cooperative Band will play a huge role in social skill development in my preschoolers as they learn to interact with peers. Many of my students have sensory needs. They need sensory input which can be messy. The Heavy-Duty Toddler Vinyl Art Smocks and Table-top Art Drying Rack will help them stay clean while getting the sensory input they need. I know that these tools will aid my students in practicing the skills that they need in order to reach their goals. By funding our classroom, you will help these students become more successful in life both now and in the future.
