My students are individual whirlwinds of joy who cross the threshold into my classroom each day eager to learn! My classroom is a 4th grade ELA (English/Language Arts/Reading) content area and one of my top priorities is to instill a life-long love of literature and reading in my students. We love learning about history, famous achievers, current events, science topics, cultural diversity, well-known authors as well as up and coming star writers, and community service as we explore various genres of literature. My students love project-based learning, technology, and problem-solving. Cooperative learning is an everyday part of our classroom environment and my students help and encourage one another to succeed. It is truly an honor to watch these precious minds at work.
