In our dual language school, the students in third grade continue developing their Spanish skills. Your donation to this project will help us create and incorporate a listening center in the classroom where the students can play and listen to folktales and stories from around the world. Listening while the students read along every page will enhance their vocabulary and help them to become fluent readers in Spanish. I will be creating a special space in the classroom with books and CDs my students can access at any time during our reading workshop. My students will benefit with the pronunciation of the words and practice the language with their favorites stories and songs.
