My students need extra help and attention when it comes to managing and expressing behavior and emotions. They come to me to learn how to do this constructively and appropriately. I use an array of things in my classroom to meet their needs daily. They all learn in different ways and have different needs to help them be successful daily. Things like wobbly chairs, kinetic sand, visual timers, and games allow my team and I model, teach and train our students how to manage and control their behavior and emotions daily. We practice what our emotions are and how expressing them in appropriate ways can affect our days.
