Rather than letting our students worry about attending school because they suffer from malnutrition, these healthy snacks will help students gain confidence and participate more in all their classes. Studying on an empty stomach can be distracting, painful, and reduces students' confidence at school. While our school's budget makes it impossible for teachers to provide snacks for their students, I have purchased granola bars for years using my personal paycheck and provided them to the entire freshman class on a daily basis. My students have overcome innumerable barriers to pursue a quality education - let's​ help them in the little ways that we can!

About my class
