My students love when we get new books! These books will help me build a more diverse classroom library. My students love having a variety of books to choose from when reading each day. Having books with characters that they enjoy and can see a reflection of themself in helps to motivate them to want to read. We know that good quality books are the key to not only building character in students but also helps to increase their love for reading. My hope is that these books will help bring awareness to students about different cultures and also provide them with real-life examples of students being courteous.
