I believe that the ability to read is a precursor to success in all areas of academic excellence. Reading is also a great way to expand understanding and compassion in a diverse world. It is my goal to instill a love of reading in my students. The Non-Fiction titles I am requesting will offer my students an engaging, literature/vocabulary rich, and a diverse selection of books. I have chosen some non fictions titles that I know my students will enjoy. Such as The Magic Tree House (Mary Pope Osborne.) Seating choice is another important facility in my classroom. I am requesting a flex seating option of floor seats. Lastly, in order to keep it all organized and accessible I am requesting book bins and storage bin to keep all of our new materials neat!
