Having headphones available for my students will help them engage and concentrate when working on class assignments, projects, or exams. Beign able to work at their pace helps them understand and work independently. In previous years eard buds or headphones were part of school supply, but working in a low income community it can be a challenge for some of our parents. Being able to provide headphones for every student in our class would be grealty appreciated. It can be chaotic when trying to work in math videos with 22 computers running at the same time. Students enjoy listening to various mathematic videos from multiplication songs and types of triangles. I also teach writing the students also listen to types of sentences videos. The use of headphones will help them focus on the skill. Having headphones available for our students will help ease the noise level, and students can enjoy and better understand the lesson.
