Our Threads of Hope clothing closet will provide free clothing and hygiene products to our homeless high school and at risk student population. Having clothing and personal items will help students self esteem and alleviate the stress of not having personal needs met thereby enabling them to feel positive and look towards their personal achievement & learning. When students have shoes that fit, warm clothing when it is cold it brings them such joy & their eyes just "light up". It's the little things that matter. Last year a student came in to get a pair of shoes. She was so overjoyed to have new shoes. She had been wearing the same pair of shoes for three years.
