Since today's world is moving progressively forward technologically, my students need to be able to keep up with these advances! I want my students to begin typing more fluently. I will have them working on their typing at least once a week in my class. I also want to accommodate those students in my class who have motor disabilities. For these students, holding a pencil is not an easy task. Typing would better suit them in their learning. Furthermore, I want to give students with interests in coding an opportunity to practice those skills by giving them time to access code.org. Since my school uses the Accelerated Reader program school wide, my goal-motivated students are always pushing to meet their AR goal. Because of this, I want to give them maximum opportunity to take AR tests in my classroom. Having these extra Chromebooks will help tremendously!
