I teach a large number of English learners, and therefore, headphones are necessary for helping my students hear when using technology. Headphones will help all students when using computers and iPads in the classroom. We use technology in the classroom and personal headphones will eliminate distractions and allow each student to work at their own pace. When children are able to self manage their learning through the use of headphones and technology they can accelerate their own learning. Learning to properly care for technology is one our school's Best Practices. Children are more likely to care for headphones when they have a sense of ownership.
