In traditional school buildings classrooms can be cramped, plastered with white walls, and rectangular desk. This arrangement is not optimal to provide our scholars with the best possible environment in which to learn. A comfortable classroom makes for comfortable learning. Students will be allowed to utilize flexible seating options each school day. These options, indoor rugs and saucer chairs, will not only allow our scholars to be comfortable, but will also serve as an easier means to configure the classroom for collaborative learning and teamwork. The goal is to equip our students with the skills they need to solve tomorrorow's problems. Flexible seating can have a positive affect on my student's social, emotional, and academic well being.
