This center will add to the students' practicing reading experience by giving them a new way to learn. Students enjoy the listening center that presently just has books on tape. These materials would create a new platform for reinforcing the skills they are learning. The synonym listening center will be used as a way to reinforce the lesson and allow a small group of students to work for mastery of the skill while doing it in a fun way. It allows the student the ability to answer questions and make changes if need be. The context clue center will help to build that ever so important skill that they will continue to use the rest of their life. This center will be used often as this a particularly hard skill for second graders. The storage rack will be used to store all of the materials.
