The Keva kits and Sphero robots used together will put technology in the hands of my students. My students will use these two very different pieces of STEM equipment to solve problems working with their peers. These hands on STEM manipulatives will give groups experience with coding and engineering structures to navigate the robots through. Together, these new materials hit everything STEM stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics! Separate, these new materials can also be used to coincide with other STEM activities. Although some may see these manipulatives as a ball and some blocks, my students will see and do so much with them!!
